A Liberal Arts option provides a focused path to completing the Liberal Arts degree while developing 100- and 200-level knowledge and skills in a specific field. Students should work closely with their advisor to select courses that align with their career or transfer goals. If you don't satisfy the requirements of a specific option, you may still may still qualify for another option or the Liberal Arts General degree. Note that you will graduate with an Associate in Arts in Liberal Arts degree, with your area of concentration reflected only on your transcript.
Total Credits
Complete 8-11 credits of any courses other than developmental courses.
CSC 201/MAT 206 is strongly recommended.
Other suggestions include: ACC 151, ACC 152, CSC 150, CSC 251, CSC 254, EGR 114, EGR 213/MAT 213, world languages, or additional math/science courses.
Complete one course approved as a Diversity Course; this course can also fulfill one other program requirement listed above.
