Practicum in Governance
An opportunity for students to participate in group problem solving and decision making within the context of Greenfield Community College's governance structure. This practicum introduces the student to several skills including organizing and conducting a meeting, communicating within a group, understanding the roles of group members, handling conflict, and presenting group decisions to outside constituents.
NOTE: Students receive one credit per semester upon successful completion of the course. Students may repeat this course two times, for a maximum total of three credits. GCC waives tuition and fees for this course.
Prereq: Must be currently enrolled in GCC, must have completed one academic semester at GCC, and must be appointed in the manner required by the GCC Assembly Bylaws.
