ADE - Adventure Education

Learn to lead adventure programs while getting out into the natural world, participating in experiential, hands-on training and developing your leadership and team-building skills. Explore the philosophical and technical aspects of adventure education in the following areas: backcountry travel, mountain biking, rock climbing, paddle sports, ice climbing, mountaineering and challenge course work. GCC’s certificate competencies meet the adventure industry’s nationally recognized standards.

• Accredited by the Association of Experiential Education

• In addition to course fees associated with each ADE course, there are costs for immunizations, health insurance, a required physical and optional national certification exam

• Satisfies MassTransfer General Education Foundation
