LHI - Liberal Arts/History

Develop an understanding of the complexity of human experience, learn to make sense of data and artifacts and hone your communication skills through GCC’s history major. This program emphasizes social justice, with survey courses in western civilization or world history and in American history. Choose from courses that allow in-depth study of African American history, women’s history, North American indigenous history and queer U.S. history, among other topics.
