GCC’s registered nursing associate degree program is among the most highly regarded in the state. The curriculum, which will prepare you to provide care for adults and children in varied settings, is a combination of liberal arts and clinical nursing courses that can be completed in four semesters. You’ll take fundamental anatomy, physiology and nursing courses, as well as courses focused on pediatric, maternity, medical-surgical and mental health nursing. When you complete the associate degree, you will be eligible to take the registered nurse (RN) licensing exam.

Admission Information
This program has a selective admission process; you must apply to the program in addition to completing a general GCC application for admission
Admitted students must complete all degree requirements listed
Students admitted to one of the bridge options will complete additional requirements and will be awarded transfer credit for some courses based on their program option and successful completion of the additional requirements and specified courses
Students who do not meet the minimum given grade requirement for any single NUR course may apply for readmission and will be required to repeat both the didactic and corresponding clinical courses
Students who fail two NUR courses will not be eligible for readmission
