LEO - Liberal Arts/Education

Pursue a teaching career in pre-kindergarten through 12th in the public school system with the GCC liberal arts education degree program. You will take courses that prepare you to transfer into a teacher licensure program at a four-year institution. You will choose a licensure level of interest (pre-kindergarten-second grade, first-sixth grade, or fifth-twelfth grade), and an area of concentration, such as English, psychology, math, etc. Graduates receive an Associate in Art degree and may qualify to transfer using benefits of MassTransfer to a four-year state college or University of Massachusetts campus.
